Glacio NV is a Belgian ice cream producer based in Beerse, Belgium. It mostly focuses its business activities on ice cream specialties. In February 2013 Glacio took over the Belgian Icecream Group. History Glacio's origins date back to 1972 when a production facility was built to produce ice cream for the door-to-door and gastronomy market under the brand name Pinti. In 1983 Schöller GmbH takes over Pinti and starts production in Beerse under the Mövenpick brand name. Schöller transforms its Belgian production plant in 1996 to the European Centre of Expertise, which further specializes in small and diversified production volumes for the gastronomy and door-to-door market segments. René Verheyen (born 20 March 1952) is a retired Belgian football midfielder. Club career During his active career he played for Lokeren (1974–1982), Club Brugge (1983–1987) and K.A.A. Gent (1987–1988). He has since his retirement worked as a manager, most notably for Club Brugge between 1999 and 2000. He is currently managing K.M.S.K. Deinze. Peter Evrard
Peter Evrard (born 19 October 1974) is the winner of the first season of ''Idool 2003'', the Belgian version of ''Pop Idol''. Evrard defied the traditional rules of the Idols series by singing rock music instead of the expected pop. Regardless, he managed to win the series, and in 2003 he placed third overall in the World Idol contest. Evrard lives and works in Beerse, Belgium. He is married and has 2 sons and a daughter. He is the only one of the original 11 World Idols to lose their mother early in life. In 2005, Peter began recording music again with his band Toner on the CD Radio Honolulu. Paul Adriaan Jan, Baron Janssen (12 September 1926 - 11 November 2003) was a Belgian physician. He was the founder of Janssen Pharmaceutica, a pharmaceutical company with over 20,000 employees which is now a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.
