Al-Hilal Sports Cultural & Social Club () also known as Al-Hilal Benghazi is a Libyan professional association football club based in Benghazi, Libya that competes in the Libyan Premier League. The club has witnessed huge development milestones at the level of infrastructure, strategic development plans and marketing under the leadership of the new board of directors (Nader Bushnaf) and the Sports Director Hossamedin Bedier. Bedier joined Al Hilal SC, as one of the biggest clubs in Libya. and became the youngest Director of Sports Development in Africa. Benina Martyrs Stadium ( ar, ملعب شهداء بنينة) and until 2011 officially named Hugo Chávez Football Stadium ( ar, ملعب هوغو شافيز), is a Libyan Soccer-specific stadium, football stadium located in Benina, a town 19 km east of Benghazi. The stadium was constructed by the same company that built the Brita-Arena in Germany. The stadium holds 10,550 people. This is Libya's first all-seater stadium. Tarek Thabet ( ar, طارق ثابت; born 16 August 1971), also known as Tariq Thabit, is a Tunisian former professional footballer who played as a defender. The Libyan Premier League ( ar, الدوري الليبي الممتاز) is the men's top professional football division of the Libyan football league system.
