Ain Sud, previously Ain Sud Foot, is a French association football team founded in 1999. They are based in Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France and are currently playing in the Championnat National 3 Group M, since the 2017–18 season. They play at the Stade du Forum, which has a capacity of 500. The club created in 1999 is a fusion among small local clubs: Olympique Saint-Maurice, ES Beynost, US Miribel and FC Neyron. In July 2020 the club is renamed in simply Ain Sud. People of Ain Sud Presidents From the 20 of December 2019, Bertrand Paris is the Président of Ain Sud. He replaced the historic President Maurice Bourgeon in place from the creation of the club in 1999. Championnat National 3
The Championnat National 3, commonly referred to as simply National 3 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur 2, is a football league competition. The league serves as the fifth division of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Championnat National, and the Championnat National 2. Usually contested by 168 clubs, the Championnat National 3 operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Championnat National 2 and the regional leagues of the Division d'Honneur, the sixth division of French football. Seasons run from August to May, with teams in twelve groups playing 26 games each totalling 2080 games in the season. Most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played during weekday evenings. Hervé Della Maggiore (born 17 August 1972) is a French former footballer who played as a midfielder, and is the coach of French club FC Villefranche. Managerial career Della Maggiore was a youth product of Olympique Lyonnais, and had an unassuming career as a semi-amateur footballer. Della Maggiore begun his managerial career with Bourg-en-Bresse in 2008, when the team played in the Championnat National 3, the fifth division in French football. During his tenure, he helped Bourg-en-Bresse reach the Ligue 2, becoming the first team in the Ain ''département'' in France to do so. He left Bourg-en-Bresse after the club were relegated to the Championnat National in 2018. In October 2018 he joined Gazélec Ajaccio as new manager.
