Aguachica
Aguachica (), is a small city and municipality in the southern region of the Cesar Department, Colombia. There is no historical support on the date of its foundation; however, August 16, 1748 has been chosen by the community. Saint Roch (San Roque, in Spanish) is the patron saint of the municipality and August 16 is the date on which the Catholic Church celebrates its festival. Geography The municipality is located south of the Cesar Department, between the Cordillera Oriental Andean mountains and the Magdalena River. Cesar Department
Caesar Department ( es, Departamento del Cesar, links=no) or simply Caesar () is a department of Colombia located in the north of the country in the Caribbean region, bordering to the north with the Department of La Guajira, to the west with the Department of Magdalene and Department of Bolivar, to the south with Department of Santander, to the east with the Department of North Santander, and further to the east with the country of Venezuela (Zulia State). La Gloria, Cesar
La Gloria is a municipality and town in the Department of Cesar, northern Colombia by the Magdalena River. Geography La Gloria is situated to the Eastern margin of the Magdalena River, it borders the north with the municipalities of Tamalameque and Pelaya, the south with the municipalities of Gamarra and Aguachica, the West with the Bolívar Department and the east with the Norte de Santander Department. The Chimilas or ''Ette Ennaka'' are an indigenous people in the Andes of north-eastern Colombia. Their Chimila language is part of the Chibcha language family, of which there were estimated to be around 1000 speakers in 1998. An ''hacienda'' ( or ; or ) is an estate (or ''finca''), similar to a Roman ''latifundium'', in Spain and the former Spanish Empire.
