AfD Pro-Russia Movement
A large part of the right-wing German party Alternative for Germany (AfD) supports Russia, its foreign policy, and its allies. The German domestic secret service reported based on its findings that Russia is trying to destabilize the democratic system of Germany on many levels. According to the head of the service Thomas Haldenwang, Russian narratives are being spread by parts of the AfD and are contributing to expansion of right-wing extremism. AfD members and activists were listed as keeping close ties with Russian politicians and receiving financial benefits in an OCCRP investigation of Russia's International Agency for Current Policy. Alexander Gauland
Eberhardt Alexander Gauland (born 20 February 1941) is a German politician, journalist and lawyer who has served as leader of the right-wing political party Alternative for Germany (AfD) in the Bundestag since September 2017 and co-leader of the party from December 2017 to November 2019. He has been a Member of the Bundestag (MdB) since September 2017. Gauland was the party's co-founder and was its federal spokesman from 2017 to 2019 and the party leader for the state of Brandenburg from 2013 to 2017. Biography Gauland was born in 1941 in Chemnitz, a city that became part of East Germany in 1949 and was renamed Karl-Marx-Stadt. Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (; "Berlin-Brandenburg Broadcasting"; abbreviated: RBB , stylized as rbb) is an institution under public law (national broadcaster) for the German states of Berlin and Brandenburg, based in Berlin and Potsdam. ARD is a joint organisation of Germany's regional public-service broadcasters. It was founded in 1950 in West Germany to represent the common interests of the new, decentralised, post-war broadcasting services – in particular the introduction of a joint television network. The ARD has a budget of €6.9 billion, 22,612 employees and is the largest public broadcaster network in the world. Ken Jebsen (real name ''Kayvan Soufi-Siavash'', born in 1966) is a German Conspiracy theory, conspiracy theorist and former radio host. Jebsen rose to prominence as moderator of his show KenFM#Radio Fritz, KenFM with the public broadcaster Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB). After an email with antisemitic remarks by him became public in 2011, he was fired for violating RBB's journalistic standards. Jebsen subsequently launched his own web-portal ''KenFM'' and an eponymous YouTube channel. There he mainly published "alternative views" and conspiracy theories, such as 9/11 conspiracy theories, about the 9/11 attack and Misinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the COVID-19 pandemic. The Donbas or Donbass (, ; uk, Донба́с ; russian: Донба́сс ) is a historical, cultural, and economic region in eastern Ukraine. Parts of the Donbas are controlled by Russian separatist groups as a result of the Russo-Ukrainian War: the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic.
