Aeolidia Papillosa
''Aeolidia papillosa'', known as the common grey sea slug, is a species of nudibranch in the family Aeolidiidae.Gofas, S''Aeolidia papillosa''.In: MolluscaBase (2017). Accessed through: World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS), 26 July 2017. Distribution This nudibranch species thrives in cold-temperate waters in the Northern Hemisphere on the Atlantic coast of The British Isles and Northern Europe, the Atlantic coast of North America, and the north Pacific Coast of North America. This species has recently been shown to have a more restricted distribution than previously thought, with animals from California, France and Chile being three other species. Description ''Aeolidia papillosa'' can be easily identified by its large number of cylindrical cerata covering its body except for a triangular area that extends from the rhinophores to the mid dorsum. The color is variable, usually with speckled darker markings in the head and back regions. To distinguish from different Aeo ...

Berghia
''Berghia'' is a genus of sea slugs, aeolid nudibranchs. They are shell-less marine gastropod molluscs in the family Aeolidiidae.Gofas, S. (2014) ''Berghia'' Trinchese, 1877.Accessed through: World Register of Marine Species on 2015-02-23. They are covered in cerata which give them their unique tentacle look and color. ''Berghia'' are commonly found in shallow waters and their diet consists of strictly ''Aiptasia'' Anemone. This genus is now commonly used commercially to fight off Anemone populations in fish tanks. Life-History The validity of the genus Berghia has been contested for years since its discovery in 1877. It has been questioned mostly due to their phenotypic similarities to the genus ''Spurilla'' despite having unique colorations. The monophyly of ''Berghia'' started to be highly supported after the addition of ''B. stephanieae'' and results were starting to show that ''Spurilla'' and ''Berghia'' were not as closely related as researchers once thought. Anteaeolidiella
''Anteaeolidiella'' is a genus of sea slugs, aeolid nudibranchs in the family Aeolidiidae. Taxonomic history Miller created this genus in 2001 based on specimens from New Zealand which he identified as ''Aeolidiella indica'', which was thought to be a cosmopolitan species since Gosliner and Griffiths synonymised several species in 1981. A study published in 2014 based on molecular characters reversed most of these synonymies and described three new species. Zoogeography The genus ''Anteaeolidiella'' has a worldwide distribution in tropical and warm temperate waters. Three species are known from the East Pacific; ''Anteaeolidiella ireneae'', '' Anteaeolidiella chromosoma'' and ''Anteaeolidiella oliviae''. Three species are found in the West Pacific; ''Anteaeolidiella takanosimensis'', Japan, ''Anteaeolidiella fijensis'', Fiji and ''Anteaeolidiella cacaotica'', Australia. The Indian Ocean has '' Anteaeolidiella indica'', Mauritius, ''Anteaeolidiella poshitra'', India, '' Anteaeol ...

Nudibranch
Nudibranchs () are a group of soft-bodied marine gastropod molluscs which shed their shells after their larval stage. They are noted for their often extraordinary colours and striking forms, and they have been given colourful nicknames to match, such as "clown", "marigold", "splendid", "dancer", "dragon", or "sea rabbit". Currently, about 3,000 valid species of nudibranchs are known.Ocean Portal (2017)A Collage of Nudibranch Colors Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Retrieved 17 April 2018. The word "nudibranch" comes from the Latin "naked" and the Ancient Greek () "gills". Nudibranchs are often casually called sea slugs, as they are a family of opistobranchs (sea slugs), within the phylum Mollusca (molluscs), but many sea slugs belong to several taxonomic groups which are not closely related to nudibranchs. A number of these other sea slugs, such as the photosynthetic ''Sacoglossa'' and the colourful Aglajidae, are often confused with nudibranchs. Distribut ...
