A.C.F. Brescia Calcio Femminile
Società Sportiva Dilettantistica Brescia Calcio Femminile, known as Brescia Calcio Femminile or simply Brescia, is an Italian women's football club from Capriolo, near Brescia. It was founded in 1985 as FCF Capriolo Arredamenti Ostilio. In 2000 it moved to Bergamo, where it played for five seasons as ACF Pro Bergamo. The team was renamed in 2005 as it returned to Capriolo. Though sharing similar colours and logos with the men's team in the city, Brescia Calcio, the women's team is not a subordinate of it; however, in 2020 a formal partnership agreement was made between them. History In 1994–95 the team won a regional championship. Then in 1996–97 won their Serie D division. They finished second in Serie C in 2001–02 and again in 2003–04 after which they promoted after play-off. In 2006–07 they won Serie B and got promoted to Serie A2. In 2008–09 they won Serie A2. The Supercoppa Italiana (; English: Italian Women's Super Cup), also called Supercoppa Italiana Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane for national sponsorship with Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, is a national women's football cup competition in Italy played between the winner of the Serie A and the winner of the Coppa Italia. Eccellenza (women's Football)
The Eccellenza (, "excellence") is the fifth level (since 2014–15) of Italian football. It is a regional league, composed of 28 divisions divided geographically. All 20 regions are represented by at least one division except for Piedmont and Aosta Valley which share 2 divisions. Veneto, Tuscany, Sicily, Emilia-Romagna and Campania also have 2 divisions each, while the regions of Lombardy and Lazio have 3 divisions. Promotion and relegation After the regular season is completed, the first-placed team for each division is automatically promoted to Serie D. Each division also admits one other team to participate in national playoffs that take place in late May and early June. Patrizia Panico (; born 8 February 1975) is an Italian former footballer who is the current manager of Italy U16. A prolific goalscorer, Panico is a longstanding member of the Italy women's national team; she won over 185 caps for Italy, and also served as her national side's captain. She is a veteran of Italy's 1997, 2001, 2005, 2009 and 2013 UEFA Women's Championship campaigns and played at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. In a club career that spanned more than two decades, Panico won ten '' Scudetti'' and collected five Coppa Italia winner's medals with her various clubs.
