The Attorney General of the State ''(')'', or also, Prosecutor General, is the head of the Prosecution Ministry (''Ministerio Fiscal''), the body with functional autonomy in the Judiciary, that has constitutionally been entrusted with the promotion of the action of the justice in defense of the legality, protecting citizens rights and the public interest, and ensuring the independence of the courts and to seek the satisfaction of the social interest. The Attorney General is appointed and dismissed by the King, at the proposal of the Government, after hearing the General Council of the Judiciary. Mae De La Concha
María Asunción Jacoba Pía de la Concha García-Mauriño, known as Mae de la Concha (born 25 July 1954), is a Spanish bookseller and politician. She was regional minister of agriculture, fisheries and food of the government of the Balearic Islands. She was a member of Congress of Deputies from 2016 to 2019. From October 2017 to December 2021 she also served as secretary-general of the Balearic branch of Podemos. She was acting President of the Balearic Islands from 19 June to 7 July 2023. Adrián Barbón Rodríguez (born 4 January 1979 in Laviana, Asturias) is a Spanish politician. He is the secretary general of the Asturian Socialist Federation, the regional socialist party affiliated with the national Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) and the current President of the Principality of Asturias. Jorge Antonio Azcón Navarro (born 21 November 1973) is a Spanish People's Party (PP) politician who is a city councillor (2000–2007; 2011–) and the mayor (2019–) of Zaragoza. Francisco Javier Lambán Montañés (born 1957) is a Spanish politician member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) and President of the Government of Aragon since 5 July 2015.
