Mira (), designation Omicron Ceti (ο Ceti, abbreviated Omicron Cet, ο Cet), is a red-giant star estimated to be 200–400 light-years from the Sun in the constellation Cetus. ο Ceti is a binary stellar system, consisting of a variable red giant (Mira A) along with a white dwarf companion (Mira B). Mira A is a pulsating variable star and was the first non-supernova variable star discovered, with the possible exception of Algol. It is the prototype of the Mira variables. Nomenclature ο Ceti ( Latinised to ''Omicron Ceti'') is the star's Bayer designation. It was named Mira (Latin for 'wonderful' or 'astonishing') by Johannes Hevelius in his ''Historiola Mirae Stellae'' (1662). In 2016, the International Astronomical Union organized a Working Group on Star Names (WGSN) to catalog and standardize proper names for stars. The WGSN's first bulletin of July 2016 included a table of the first two batches of names approved by the WGSN, which included Mira for this star. ... Zlatko Saračević
Zlatan "Zlatko" Saračević (5 July 1961 – 21 February 2021) was a Croatian professional handball player and coach who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics for Yugoslavia and in the 1996 Summer Olympics for Croatia. From the 2015 to 2017 World Championship he was a commentator on RTL Televizija together with Filip Brkić. Following the domestic league match between RK Podravka, of which he was coach, and RK Lokomotiva, Saračević suffered a cardiac arrest and died in Koprivnica on 21 February 2021. He was 59. Playing career Saračević was born in Banja Luka, present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina. Product of the prolific youth academy RK Borac Banja Luka, he was one of the greater Yugoslav players of the early 1980s, whose junior team won the world junior championship, defeating the then invincible Soviet Union in the final. Mladen Vranković
Mladen Vranković (2 July 1937 – 11 February 2021) was a Croatian football player and manager. Career Born in Rtina, he played for his hometown club, HNK Rijeka, for eight seasons, collecting 350 caps. He also spent three years in the North American Soccer League playing for Kansas City Spurs. Following the end of his career he became a manager. He was Rijeka's manager between 1987 and 1989, leading the club to the 1986–87 Yugoslav Cup final against Hajduk Split. He briefly coached Australian club Sydney Croatia in the now defunct Australian National Soccer League during the 1991–92 season. Miroslav Tuđman
Miroslav Tuđman (; 25 May 1946 – 31 January 2021) was a Croatian scientist and politician, the son and eldest child of the first President of Croatia, Franjo Tuđman, and his wife Ankica. Biography Tuđman was born in Belgrade, where he completed grade school, before he moved with his family to Zagreb in 1961. He was born on his parents' 1st anniversary. He was named Miroslav after the famous writer Miroslav Krleža who was adored by his father at that period. He graduated from gymnasium and then from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zagreb in 1970. He became part of the faculty, and received a doctorate in information sciences at the same university in 1985. In 1989 he founded the Institute for Information Studies at the Faculty. He participated in the Croatian War of Independence in 1991, and in 1992 he became the head of the Center for Strategic Research.
