2021 CONCACAF League
The 2021 CONCACAF League (officially the 2021 Scotiabank CONCACAF League for sponsorship purposes) was the 5th edition of the CONCACAF League, a football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Comunicaciones defeated Motagua in the final to win their first CONCACAF League title. As winners, they and the next best five teams qualifed for the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League. Alajuelense were the title holders but were eliminated by Guastatoya in the Round of 16. Canadian Premier League Finals
The Canadian Premier League Finals is the annual championship game of the Canadian Premier League (CPL), the top level of Canadian soccer. As of the 2021 Final, it is played as a single match hosted by the higher seeded team. The winner is awarded the North Star Shield trophy and from 2023, will earn a berth in the CONCACAF Champions League. The CPL uses a playoff tournament following the regular season to determine its annual league champion, a method common to every other major North American sports league. The Caribbean Club Shield, also known as the CFU Club Shield, was an annual Caribbean football competition for clubs that were members of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). It was a second-tier competition to the Caribbean Club Championship, and was introduced in 2018 for clubs which worked towards professional standards. The Liga Primera de Nicaragua is the top division of football in Nicaragua, organized by the Federación Nicaragüense de Fútbol, it was created in 1933. The ''Primera División'' of the (''Professional Football League''), more commonly known as ''La Liga Mayor'' or ''La Primera'', is the top professional association football, football league in El Salvador.
