USL League One (USL1) is a professional men's association football, soccer league in the United States that had its inaugural season in 2019 USL League One season, 2019. The United States soccer league system, Division III league is operated by the United Soccer League, the same group that operates the Division II USL Championship and other leagues. the league has 14 teams who play 30 regular season games, followed by playoffs. All teams also participate in the USL Cup, adding four games, followed by knockout rounds. Tim Hankinson
Timothy Milledge Hankinson (February 18, 1955 – September 22, 2022) was an American soccer coach. He initially coached American college teams, before becoming head coach in Major League Soccer, as well as managing teams in Iceland, India, and Jamaica. Early career Hankinson was born in New York City on February 18, 1955. His father, Richard "Dick" Hankinson, was a pianist; his mother, Nelle "Pokey" Hankinson (née Rahm), was "an actress in the early days of television". Hankinson's career as a player began at age 5 as a kindergarten student at St. David's School. The school had a relationship with a German soccer coach who taught the students how to play the game on the grassy spaces at nearby Central Park. Seeing the coach perform a simple trick with a ball intrigued the young player and a lifelong love of the game began. Chicago Fire Football Club is an American professional soccer club based in Chicago. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. The Fire play their home games at Soldier Field, which they share with the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). Nate Miller (coach)
Nathan David Miller (born February 24, 1986) is an American association football, soccer coach who is currently an assistant coach for Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake. He is known for his distinct, attacking style of play. Playing career Miller played for Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He then attended Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where he was a four-year starting midfielder from 2004–2008. He was selected to the Mid-Central College Conference (MCC) All-Conference team in 2005 and 2006 and to the All-Region team in 2007. Miller served as captain of the Trojan soccer team his senior year. After college, Miller played central midfield for the Vikings AA semi-professional soccer league in Chicago, IL.
