2019 CONCACAF U-17 Championship
The 2019 CONCACAF U-17 Championship was the 6th edition of the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship (19th edition if all eras included), the men's under-17 international football tournament organized by CONCACAF. It was hosted in the United States between 1 May and 16 May 2019. The top four teams qualified for the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil as CONCACAF representatives. Mexico were the defending champions, and successfully won a fourth consecutive title. Qualified teams The format for qualification had changed since the 2017 edition. The qualifying competition no longer featured Caribbean and Central American zones. The 41 CONCACAF teams were ranked based on the CONCACAF Men’s Under-17 Ranking as of May 2017. A total of 35 teams entered the tournament. 1985 CONCACAF U-17 Championship
The 1985 CONCACAF U-16 Championship was the second tournament in the Under-16 category organized by the CONCACAF, and it also served as qualifying tournament for the U-16 world cup to be held at China. Mexico hosted the event between April 13 and 26, and Mexico (as champion) and Costa Rica (as runner-up) won the two spots for China 1985. Competition format The first stage consisted of two groups, one with five teams and another with four teams, where top two advance to semifinals. In the second round, the champion and runner-up obtain final spots for China 1985. 2007 CONCACAF U17 Tournament
The 2007 CONCACAF U17 Tournament was played in Honduras and Jamaica. Qualification United States, Canada received automatic qualification to the finals. Honduras and Jamaica qualified as hosts. Nonetheless, Jamaica participated the CFU Youth Cup, which served as the qualification of the 2007 CONCACAF U17 Tournament for the Caribbean Zone. 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship
The 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship determined the four CONCACAF representatives to advance to the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico. Jamaica staged the championship between 14 and 27 February. The United States defeated Canada 3–0 in the final to claim their third championship. Qualified teams Mexico did not participate. Squads Draw The draw for the final tournament took place on December 15 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, dividing the 12 sides into four, three-team groups. Due to a decision of the CONCACAF Youth Championships Committee, Pot 1 was reconfigured from the original announcement. The 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship was a scheduled age-restricted international association football tournament organised by CONCACAF. The competition was used to determine the four CONCACAF representatives at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile. The competition was hosted by Honduras.
