2018 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy
The 2018 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy is the sixth edition of the invitational tournament hosted by Brunei, taking place from 23 April to 5 May. A total of 7 teams of the under-22 age group from the Southeast Asian region will be competing for the trophy along with a cash prize of B$20,000 (US$15,200) for the winners, B$10,000 (US$7,600) for the runner-up and B$5,000 (US$3,800) for joint third-place. Teams were divided into two groups, with the host nation able to choose which group to be placed in. The draw took place on 21 March with Brunei electing to choose Group A. Indonesia could not join due to the 2018 PSSI Anniversary Cup, while Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam are not participating due to tight football league schedules in their countries. Timor-Leste emerged as the champion after beating Cambodia by 1–0 in the final, while both Myanmar and Singapore shared the third place. Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium
Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is currently used mostly for association football matches. The stadium holds 28,000 and was opened on 23 September 1983. It was named after Bruneian Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Construction Unusually for a public building in Brunei, members of the public donated and contributed towards the building of the stadium. Although the final collection of $1,102,761.57 accounted for a little more than 1.1 percent of the total building cost ($100 million), the public participation showed the Bruneians' great interest and support for this project. The entire project cost for the stadium is about $100 million. Building The stadium is long and wide. Yura Indera Putera Yunos
Pengiran Yura Indera Putera bin Pengiran Yunos (born 25 March 1996) is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for DPMM FC and the Brunei national team. Club career Yura is a graduate of local grassroots football development scheme Projek Ikan Pusu (PIP) that has won many youth tournaments since its creation in 2001. He had a stint in the Bruneian leagues in 2012, lacing up for BIBD SRC in the Brunei National Football League, the precursor to the first season of the Brunei Super League. Yura joined Majra FC for the 2014 season. His Majra career ended just 9 matches into the season after his club abruptly pulled out of the ongoing league. Yura was selected to join Brunei's sole professional club DPMM FC at the start of 2015, alongside Khairul Anwar Abdul Rahim, Reduan Petara and Aminuddin Zakwan Tahir. Naziruddin Ismail
Nazirrudin bin Haji Ismail (born 27 December 1998) is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or forward for DPMM FC of the Singapore Premier League and the Brunei national team. Club career Nazirrudin attended Brunei Sports School in his youth years. He was also a trainee with Tabuan Muda, the youth scheme of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam, from 2013 to 2016. He played for Tabuan Muda teams in the 2015 Brunei Premier League and the 2016 Brunei Super League. He moved to league powerhouses Indera SC in 2017 and contributed three goals for Indera in the 2017–18 Brunei Super League season, the first one coming in his first league appearance in a 2–1 defeat to Tabuan Muda 'A'.
