''The Voice of Poland'' is a Polish reality talent show that premiered on September 3, 2011, on the TVP 2 television network. ''The Voice of Poland'' is part of the international syndication ''The Voice'' based on the reality singing competition launched in the Netherlands as ''The Voice of Holland'', created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. Selection process and format The Blind Auditions The blind auditions feature approximately 100 contestants who were selected during non-televised production pre-castings. At the beginning of the performance, the coaches have their backs turned to the participants, and if one of the coaches wants to take on a participant, he turns to face him and the singer is automatically placed on his team. AMC (European TV Channel)
AMC is a European TV channel launched by AMC Networks International. AMC replaced the MGM Channel on 5 November 2014, but in Poland on 6 May 2016. AMC-produced dramas ''Halt & Catch Fire'' and '' The Divide'' are among the first original series that premiered on the channel. The channel also airs films from MGM, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment. The channel launched in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2015, in partnership with BT TV and branded AMC from BT. Until 2019, Sky customers in the UK had access to the channel if they subscribed to BT Sport, but was subsequently removed from the platform on 2 October 2019, making the channel exclusive to BT TV subscribers. ''X Factor'' was a Polish talent show based on a British show ''The X Factor'' and broadcast on TVN (Polish TV channel), TVN. The first series premiered on 6 March 2011. On 27 November 2010, during the season 3 finale of ''Mam talent!, Poland's Got Talent'', Marcin Prokop confirmed that the auditions would be held in January 2011. That was also the first public statement from TVN about ''X Factor''. The main prize is Polish zloty, PLN100,000 funded by Apart and a recording contract with label Sony Music. Format The competition is split into three categories: Solo Singers aged 16–24, Solo Singers aged 25 and over and Vocal Groups. ''Mam talent!'' () is the Polish version of the ''Got Talent'' series. The aim of the program is to choose the most talented person from people showing their talents. The winner of the show in the first series got €100,000, in the second and third series – 300,000 złotys. Prizes for people from the second and third place are chosen by producers of the shows. The show is hosted by Marcin Prokop and Michał Kempa, and the judges are Agnieszka Chylińska, Małgorzata Foremniak and Jan Kliment. Qualifications In spring, there were preliminary castings (not broadcast on TV) which chose qualifying participants for the usual presentations with jury, audience and cameras.
