Aleksey Mozgovoy
Aleksey Borisovich Mozgovoy or Mozgovoi (russian: Алексе́й Бори́сович Мозгово́й, uk, Олексі́й Бори́сович Мозгови́й, translit=Oleksii Borysovych Mozghovyi'';'' 3 April 1975 – 23 May 2015) was a commander of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic in Ukraine. He was the leader of the pro-Russian Prizrak Brigade and also served as "judge" on the "People's Court", notorious for issuing controversial death sentences. He was assassinated in Donbas, with multiple theories about who was responsible. In 2020 he was found guilty posthumously by a separatist court of a murder-for-money of a family and crippling of a ten-year-old child. Zasyadko Mine Disaster
The 2007 Zasyadko mine disaster was a mining accident that happened on November 18, 2007 at the Zasyadko coal mine ( uk, Шахта ім. Засядько) in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk. By November 30, 101 miners were reported dead: the worst accident in Ukraine's history. At the time of the explosion, 457 miners were in the complex. Causes and investigation The accident was caused by a methane explosion located more than below ground level.
