Channel V
Channel '' ("V" standing for the letter, not the Roman numeral "5") is a Chinese and former Asian pay television musical network originally launched by Star TV Hong Kong (now Fox Networks Group Asia Pacific). It was part of the unit of Disney International Operations, and was launched back in September 1991 to replace the first incarnation of MTV's Asian operation before it was shutdown on October 1, 2021. The Mainland Chinese version is later owned by Star China Media, and is still operational, since they're a subsidiary of China Media Capital. The Australian channels were later owned by Foxtel before their closure. Zhou Bichang (; born 26 July 1985 in Changsha, Hunan), also known as Bibi Zhou, is a Chinese singer, songwriter, and actress. 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards
The 2014 MTV EMAs (also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards) were held at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland on 9 November 2014. This was the first time since 2003 when the awards were held in Scotland and the fifth time the United Kingdom has hosted the MTV EMA since the show was hosted in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The event showcases the world's hottest musical acts in a different city each year. The event was hosted by Nicki Minaj. Ariana Grande opened the show with " Problem" and " Break Free". An additional performance from Alicia Keys was featured at the O2 Academy Glasgow. Ozzy Osbourne received the award for Global Icon from Slash.
