Jeugdjournaal
Jeugdjournaal (; "youth news programme") is a Dutch television news programme produced by the Dutch public service broadcaster NOS for children. The programme has been on air since 1981. The main evening programme airs at 7:00 pm (CET), running for 20 minutes every night on NPO 3 (formerly Nederland 3). A 5-minute short version also airs on weekdays at 8:45 am. Both programmes are also broadcast on the international satellite Dutch-language television station BVN. The aim of ''Jeugdjournaal'' was to present news that is both of interest to and within the mindset of a younger audience, without shying away from the main national and international news headlines. Because of its use of easy language and simple explanation of current affairs, the broadcasts also attracted a following with adult viewers. Hannie Lips
Hannie Lips (16 July 1924 – 19 November 2012) was a Dutch broadcaster and television announcer of among others Dutch public broadcasting association KRO. She is best known to international audiences for presenting the Third Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 when it was staged in Hilversum, Netherlands Hilversum () is a city and municipality in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. Located in the heart of the Gooi, it is the largest urban centre in that area. It is surrounded by heathland, woods, meadows, lakes, and smaller towns. Hilver .... Stingray Brava
Stingray Brava (formerly Brava) was a cultural television channel originated in the Netherlands, owned by the Stingray Group in Canada. The programming consisted of opera, ballet, and concertos. Productions were recorded in opera houses such as the Royal Opera House, the Teatro Real, and La Scala. The productions consisted of stage performances such as ''La bohème'', ''Otello'', ''Aida'', ''Swan Lake'', ''Tosca'', ''Zoroastre'' and ''Così fan tutte''. History Brava was founded by Jur Bron and Gerard Ardesch. The pan-European Brava HDTV (now Stingray Brava Europe) was launched in 2006, and Brava NL (now Stingray Brava Dutch), which is broadcast in Dutch and focuses on Dutch contents, began on 1 July 2009. 24Kitchen is a Dutch television specialty channel that airs both one-time and recurring (episodic) programs about food and cooking, owned by The Walt Disney Company (Benelux) BV. History The channel was launched by Fox Networks Group Benelux in cooperation with Jan Dekker Holding, which airs across the Netherlands. It's also available in HD. It launched on 1 October 2011. A preview channel was shown on the UPC Netherlands platform a month before the launch. 24Kitchen Portugal is modeled out of the Dutch version, with original content and international series. HBO Netherlands
HBO Nederland (Home Box Office) was a Dutch premium television network, owned by a joint venture between HBO and the largest cable television operator in the Netherlands, Ziggo. It launched on 9 February 2012. HBO Nederland offered three television channels, available in HD and SD, video-on-demand services and HBO GO. Film1 Drama
''Film1 Drama'' is a Dutch premium television channel owned by SPI International. Every night the programming is dedicated to a theme, such as a director or a genre. Film1 launched together with its sister service Sport1 on 1 February 2006 and replaced the Canal+ Netherlands television channels. Film1 offers multiple channels with Dutch and international film and television series productions. Initially Film1 Drama started as Film1 Series on 17 January 2012 when it replaced the 1 hour timeshift channel Film1 Premiere +1, focusing on television series. It changed into Film1 Spotlight on 6 September 2013. On 1 September 2016 Film1 Spotlight got renamed by Film1 Drama.
