2011 SAP Open
The 2011 SAP Open was a tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 123rd edition of the SAP Open, and was part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the 2011 ATP World Tour. It took place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, United States, from February 7 through February 13, 2011. On the opening night of the event, Gaël Monfils defeated Pete Sampras 7–6(4), 6–4 in an exhibition match. Gaël Monfils was forced to withdraw with a left wrist injury prior to his semifinal match against Milos Raonic. Following Monfils' withdrawal, Raonic played an exhibition match against Ivo Karlović, who won the match 7–6(3), 7–6(7). The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Tour Masters 1000, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. Benjamin Becker
Benjamin Becker (born 16 June 1981) is a German retired professional tennis player who is known for defeating former world No. 1 Andre Agassi in the third round at the 2006 US Open in what was Agassi's last match as a professional player. Becker has reached a career-high ATP ranking of No. 35 in singles on October 27, 2014, and No. 58 in doubles on July 5, 2010. Becker has no relation to Boris Becker, another German tennis player who was ranked as high as world No. 1 and won Wimbledon three times. Alejandro Falla
Alejandro Falla Ramírez (; born 14 November 1983) is a retired professional male tennis player from Colombia. The left-hander turned pro in 2000 and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 48 in July 2012. At the 2006 Wimbledon tournament, Falla upset 9th seed Nikolay Davydenko and at the 2007 Sony Ericsson Open he beat 9th seed Tommy Haas in straight sets. Gregory Rusedski (born 6 September 1973) is a British and Canadian former tennis player. He was the British No. 1 in 1997, 1999 and 2006, and reached the ATP ranking of world No. 4 for periods from 6 October 1997 to 12 October 1997 and from 25 May 1998 to 21 June 1998. Timothy Smyczek ( ; ; born December 30, 1987) is an American former professional tennis player. He made three quarterfinals on the main tour as well as the semi-finals of Newport in 2018. Bradley Klahn (born August 20, 1990) is an American professional tennis player from Poway, California. Klahn played collegiate tennis at Stanford University, where he won the 2010 NCAA Singles Championships as a sophomore. His next year as a junior, he was a finalist in the NCAA Doubles Championship. He played at the 2010 US Open, taking a set from 20th seed Sam Querrey before being defeated in four sets. Klahn received a wild card into the 2011 SAP Open.
