2010 British Rally Championship Season
The 2010 Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship was the 52nd season of the British Rally Championship. The season consisted of six rounds and began on 27 March, with International Rally North Wales. The season ended on 25 September at the International Rally Yorkshire. Dulux Trade was the title sponsor of the series, which is part of a two-year deal agreed in February 2010. Irishman Keith Cronin won the championship for the second year in a row in a Subaru Impreza, taking wins in both the Bulldog and Isle of Man rallies on the way to the title. British Rally Championship
The British Rally Championship is a rallying series based in the United Kingdom. The first championship was run in 1958 and it has been licensed by the Motor Sports Association (MSA) since 1999. MSA has opted not to run the series in 2015, instead giving its promotion to its own subsidiary (IMS) for 2016. Champions British Rally Championship *In 2000, Ipatti used both Kari Kajala and Teppo Leino as co-drivers during the season. Hence, runner-up Mark Higgins' co-driver Bryan Thomas was awarded the co-drivers title. Two similar situations occurred in 2004 & 2008. In 2004 David Higgins used Chris Wood, Craig Thorley & Daniel Barritt as co-drivers during the season. Hence, runner-up Austin MacHale' co-driver Brian Murphy was awarded the co-drivers title. Matti Rantanen (born 13 February 1981) is a Finland, Finnish rally driver from Lammi. Career Rantanen began rallying in 2003 in his native Finland. In 2004 and 2005 he competed in the Finnish Junior Rally Championship, and the main Finnish Rally Championship in 2005 and 2006. In 2005 he competed in his first World Rally Championship round on Rally Finland, winning the Group N category (for less powerful Group N cars). Euan Thorburn (born 19 October 1986) is a British Rallying, rally driver from Duns, Scottish Borders, Duns.
