Battle (South Korean Band)
Battle () was a South Korean boy band that debuted on December 17, 2006, with the release of their first single "Crash". They are most popular for winning the reality show, ''Let's Coke Play! Battle Shinhwa!''. The group includes Ryu, Tae-hwa, Lio, Chris, and Hwi-chan. Shin Ki-Hyun, who was chosen by Shinhwa's Eric, departed the group in 2008. The group separated following the dissolution of Good Entertainment, but reunited for a performance in 2019. Formation The members of Battle participated in a popular reality show, ''Let's Coke Play! Battle Shinhwa!'', hosted by the members of Shinhwa themselves. The show was sponsored by Good Entertainment, M-NET and Coca-Cola. The members were hand-picked particularly by each of the Shinhwa members. They were chosen because of their singing, dancing, and endurance skills. Ha Dong-kyun (; born June 28, 1980), officially known as Ha Dong Qn'','' is a South Korean singer-songwriter. He debuted in 2002 as a member of the short-lived boy band 7Dayz, before joining the boy band Wanted in 2004. As a solo singer, he has released two albums: ''Stand Alone'' (2006) and ''Another Corner'' (2008), and three extended plays: ''Mark'' (2012), ''Word'' (2014), and ''Polygon'' (2017). Chakra (band)
Chakra () was a South Korean girl group that debuted in 2000 with four members: Hwangbo, Eun, Ryeowon, and Eani. Following the release of their first album, the group won Best New Artist at several major South Korean music awards. After Eani left the group in 2001, the group introduced new member Bona in 2002. Chakra ultimately released three more albums and disbanded in 2006. Son Ho-young (; born March 26, 1980) is a Korean-American singer and musical actor based in South Korea. Best known as a member of g.o.d, he made his debut in the entertainment industry with the group in 1999 and pursued a solo career as a singer and musical theater actor after the group went on hiatus. Choi Dong-hoon (born January 31, 1983), better known by the stage name Primary, is a South Korean hip hop musician and record producer. Formerly an artist under Amoeba Culture, he established his own record label PAKTORY Company on April 22, 2020. Park Jung-ah (; also spelled as Park Jeong-ah, Park JungA; February 24, 1981) is a South Korean entertainer. Kim Tae-woo (; born May 12, 1981) is a South Korean singer, best known as the lead vocalist of boy band g.o.d. He debuted in 1999 as a member of g.o.d and continued as a solo artist after the group went on hiatus in 2006. In addition to his solo career, Kim has also sung the OSTs of award-winning popular dramas and performed in musicals.
