Milić Od Mačve
Milić Stanković (1934 – 2000), known by his artistic name Milić of Mačva ( sr, Милић од Мачве, Milić od Mačve; 30 October 1934 – 8 December 2000), was a Serbian painter and artist often named Balkan's Dalí for his figurative surrealist paintings. Biography Stanković was born in 1934 in Belotić, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. When he was in the second year of high school in the town of Šabac, a professor of drawing, Đorđe Kostić came to Šabac from Belgrade, demolished after the Nazi bombardment. Kostić founded the art section in the basement of the high school. The professor had a special ability of perceiving children gifted in painting, including Milić. As a high school student, Milić participated at painting exhibitions in the town. Because of poverty, his parents decided that he should attend the Military Academy in Belgrade. Milić was accepted, but at the last moment, managed to convince his parents that architecture would be better for him and ... Helena Pajović
Helena Pajovic (November 7, 1979 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia – December 24, 2000) was a Serb figure skater who competed internationally for Yugoslavia. She was a three-time competitor at the World Figure Skating Championships and a two-time competitor at the European Figure Skating Championships. She was killed in a car accident in 2000, on her way home from Skate Israel, where she won the bronze medal. In 2001, the Serbian Skating Federation created the Helena Pajović Cup competition in her memory. Marko Todorović ( sr-cyr, Марко Тодоровић: 2 June 1929 – 29 August 2000) was a Serbian actor, famous for playing roles of important historical figures. Among those the best known is Tito whom he played in the 1974 spectacle ''The Republic of Užice ''Guns of War'' ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, separator=/, Užička republika, Ужичка република, Republic of Užice) is a 1974 Yugoslav film directed by Žika Mitrović. Ivan Stambolić
Ivan Stambolić ( sr, Иван Стамболић; 5 November 1936 – 25 August 2000) was a Serbian politician. He was a prominent member of the League of Communists of Serbia who served as the President of the Presidency of Serbia in the 1980s. In August 2000, he was assassinated. His uncle was politician Petar Stambolić. Career Stambolić graduated from the University of Belgrade's Law School. In May 1986, he became the President of Serbia. He was a mentor and a close personal friend to Slobodan Milošević, and supported him in the elections for the new leader of the League of Communists of Serbia, to the dismay of the other leaders in the party. Stambolić spent three days advocating Milošević's election and finally managed to secure him a tight victory, the tightest ever in the history of Serbian Communist Party internal elections. Prince Tomislav of Yugoslavia ( sr-cyr, Томислав Карађорђевић, Tomislav Karađorđević; 19 January 1928 – 12 July 2000) was a member of the House of Karađorđević, the second son of King Alexander I and Queen Maria of Yugoslavia. He was a younger brother of King Peter II of Yugoslavia and a former nephew-in-law to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
