Mariano Palacios Alcocer
Mariano Palacios Alcocer (born May 27, 1952 in Santiago de Querétaro) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He is a former governor of Querétaro and has presided twice over the PRI. Mariano Palacios received a doctorate in law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1995; he also holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in law from the Autonomous University of Querétaro. He is married to Ana María González de Palacios, with whom he has seven children. Rafael Macedo de la Concha (born May 6, 1950 in Mexico City) is a Mexican army general and former Attorney General in the cabinet of Vicente Fox (December 1, 2000 – April 27, 2005). Macedo de la Concha has taught several law courses at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and at the Latin American University, where he chaired the law program. Julio José Frenk Mora (born December 20, 1953) is president of the University of Miami and has served in this role since 2015. He is the University of Miami's first Hispanic and native Spanish-speaking president. At the University of Miami, he is also a professor of public health science at the university's Leonard M. Julia Carabias Lillo (born August 11, 1954, Mexico City) is a Mexican ecologist and Environmental Conservationist. She is a professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and served as the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources under President Ernesto Zedillo from 1994 to 2000. Early life and education Carabias was born in Mexico City on August 11, 1954 as the child of Basque immigrants from Spain.
