Choujuu Sentai Liveman
is the twelfth entry of Toei Company's Super Sentai metaseries. The last Super Sentai title of the Shōwa Era, it aired on TV Asahi from February 27, 1988 to February 18, 1989, replacing ''Hikari Sentai Maskman'' and was replaced by ''Kousoku Sentai Turboranger''. Its international English title as listed by Toei is simply ''Liveman''. It was the first Super Sentai series to have a female Blue Ranger as well as the first Super Sentai series that introduced animal-based mecha. Choujinki Metalder
is the sixth and shortest entry of the Metal Hero Series franchise, running from March 16, 1987, to January 17, 1988, for only 39 episodes. It was the first series to air on Sundays instead of Mondays. ''Metalder'' bears many similarities to Toei's ''Android Kikaider'' and ''Kikaider 01,'' particularly in its themes, characters, and the hero's costume design. Akakage
is a Japanese superhero ninja featured in several manga and anime, as well as live-action movies and TV shows. Akakage first appeared in the 1967 TV series, ''Kamen no Ninja Akakage'' which was produced by Toei Company Ltd. Character Akakage is a ninja who wears a red-and-black costume and a stylized red mask. He was created by Japanese manga artist Mitsuteru Yokoyama. His adventures are set in Feudal Japan, where Akakage and his ninja sidekicks, and fight evil warlords. is a manga series created by Fujiko F. Fujio in 1977 and serialized in ''Shōnen Big Comic''. It tells stories about Mami, a middle schoolgirl who one day finds out she has various psychic powers, and how she uses them to help people.
