Gholamreza Takhti
Gholamreza Takhti ( fa, غلامرضا تختی, August 27, 1930 – January 7, 1968) was an Iranian Olympic Gold-Medalist wrestler and Varzesh-e Bastani (''Persian Traditional Sport'') practitioner.Houchang E. Muhammad Taha Al-Huwayzi
Muhammad Taha al-Huwayzi ( ar, محمد طه الحويزي, translit=Muḥammad Ṭāhā al-Ḥuwayzī; 1899 – 4 April 1968) was an Iranian-Iraqi Ja'fari jurist, religious teacher and poet. He was born in Najaf to a father from Al-Huwayza, and studied early education from him, then became a student of Muhammad Husayn Isfahani for a long time. After the death of his father, he moved to Al-Huwayza in 1927, worked in agriculture, then returned to Najaf in 1946, from there to Qom in Iran, where he studied under Hossein Borujerdi, he who entrusted him for his religious educational institute. In Qom, he held a madrasah seminar in which he taught Arabic language and poetry. In his last years, he moved to Ahvaz for Shariah service until his death at the age of 69. Shiva Mahbobi (Persian: شیوا محبوبی ) (born 1968) is a psychotherapist, former Iranian political prisoner, and a prominent advocate known for her extensive efforts in mobilizing international support for the release of political prisoners in Iran. She is recognized for her persistent commitment to advancing women’s rights and raising awareness about women's suppression and the compulsory Hijab in Iran. Mahbobi is known for her role as the co-founder and spokeswoman of the Campaign to Free Political Prisoners in IranCFPPI. Over a decade ( 2005-2016), she served as the producer and presenter of the Persian television program on women's rights and political prisoners. Navid Negahban ( fa, نوید نگهبان; born June 2, 1968) is an Iranian-American actor. He has appeared on '' 24'', ''Homeland'', ''Mistresses'' and as Amahl Farouk / Shadow King in the second and third seasons of FX's ''Legion''. He has also starred as The Sultan in the live-action remake of ''Aladdin''. Early life Negahban was born in Mashhad, Iran. He took a liking to the theater when he was eight years old, while provoking laughter from a large audience by portraying an old man on stage. Ferdows ( fa, فردوس, also Romanized as Ferdos, Ferdous, and Firdaus; named Toon or Tūn until 1929) is a city and capital of Ferdows County, located in the north of South Khorasan Province in Iran. It is about south of Mashhad and 200 km northwest of Birjand. Ferdous is located on the main axis connecting Yazd, Kerman, Isfahan, Bushehr, Hormozgan and Fars provinces to Mashhad.
