María de la Almudena Grandes Hernández (7 May 1960 – 27 November 2021) was a Spanish writer. Author of 13 novels and three short-story collections, her work has been translated into twenty languages and frequently adapted to film. She won the National Literature Prize for Narrative and the Prix Méditerranée among other honors. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez called her "one of the most important writers of our time." Early life and career Almudena Grandes was born on 7 May 1960 in the Chamartín neighborhood of Madrid, Spain. Biography Carlos Elejalde Garay was born on 10 October 1960 in Vitoria-Gasteiz. He developed his early acting career on independent stage plays. Víctor Fernández Braulio (born 28 November 1960) is a Spanish football manager. He had three spells with his hometown team Zaragoza, winning the Copa del Rey in 1994 and the Cup Winners' Cup a year later. Agustín Sancho Agustina (18 July 1896 – 25 August 1960) was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder for FC Barcelona in the 1920s. Club career Born in Benlloc ( province of Castellon, Valencia), he moved to Sants in Barcelona as a child, and there he played for various clubs in the neighborhood such as Gladiator de Sants, who was later effectively relaunched as the CE Sants. His good performance with Sants aroused the interest of the main Barcelona clubs and, although he had a pre-agreement with RCD Espanyol, he joined Barcelona in 1916, for whom he played in the next 12 seasons (Sept 1922-23, because he returned to Sants to defend the newly founded UE Sants).
