The list of Norwegian monarchs ( no, kongerekken or ''kongerekka'') begins in 872: the traditional dating of the Battle of Hafrsfjord, after which victorious King Harald Fairhair merged several petty kingdoms into that of his father. Named after the homonymous geographical region, Harald's realm was later to be known as the Kingdom of Norway. Rigmor Aasrud (born 26 June 1960) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She served in the position of deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland during the terms 1993–1997, 1997–2001 and 2001–2005. Jørn Sigurd Maurud (born 8 April 1960) is a Norwegian jurist. He is Director of Public Prosecutions from 1 November 2019. Career Maurud graduated as cand.jur. from the University of Oslo in 1987.
