Ola Brunkert
Ola Brunkert (15 September 1946 – 16 March 2008) was a Swedish drummer who was one of the main session drummers for the pop group ABBA. Brunkert and bassist Rutger Gunnarsson are the only two side musicians to appear on every ABBA album, not counting the album "Voyage" of 2021. Born in Örebro, Sweden, Brunkert played with Slim's Blues Gang, before joining the pop group Science Poption. He then formed the jazz-rock combo Opus III with the guitarist Janne Schaffer and by 1970 had become one of the most sought after session drummers in Stockholm. He was not among the four members of ABBA whose faces adorned the album covers, but was a key supporting musician for the group as it achieved stardom. Brunkert played on the group's first single "People Need Love", their Eurovision hit " Waterloo", and consistently on a great many of their recordings throughout the 1970s. Ebba Bernadotte
Princess Ebba Bernadotte (''née'' Ebba Henrietta Munck af Fulkila; 24 October 1858 – 16 October 1946), was a Swedish noble, lady-in-waiting and a titular princess, the spouse of Prince Oscar Bernadotte. Life She was the daughter of Finnish-born noble Colonel Carl Jacob and Baroness Henrica Cederström. She was a lady-in-waiting of the Crown Princess, Victoria of Baden, who in 1885 visited her brother-in-law in Amsterdam, where he was to undergo a medical examination for a heart difficulty. Marriage Ebba and Oscar visited the Norwegian sailor church during their stay in Amsterdam and fell in love: Ebba was religious and influenced Oscar in this regard. When Oscar told his family that he wished to marry Ebba, they were scandalized and he was forced to take a two-year consideration period, and Ebba was dismissed as a lady-in-waiting. Kristian Hellström
Kristian Hellström (24 July 1880 – 14 June 1946) was a Swedish middle-distance runner and a sports administrator. He competed at the 1906 Intercalated Games in the 800 m and 1500 m events and finished in fifth and third place respectively. At the 1908 Summer Olympics, he failed to reach the final of the 800 m event. Nationally, he won the 1500 m title in 1900 and 1901, as well as the 10,000 m title in 1902. He was also the German champion for the 1500 m in 1905. Hellström was a prolific sports administrator who founded his first sports club, ''IF Sleipner Stockholm'', in 1897 at age 17. In 1901, he launched the first cross-country race in Sweden. In 1912, Hellström became Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of the Stockholm Olympics. Cecilia Milow
Cecilia Milow (8 March 1856 – 7 May 1946), was a Swedish author, translator, educator, campaigner and suffragette. Early life and education Born in Gothenburg as Emma Cecilia Milow, but known as Cecilia ('Cissy' to her intimate circle), she was the youngest of three daughters born to Johan Fredrik Milow (born 1814) and Mary Lindgren (1825–1906). Her London-born Anglo-Swedish mother was a translator, author and pedagogue. Her musical eldest sister, Thekla Milow (born 1848, London), was the wife of Baron Sten Miles Sture (1806–1875), the last of his historic dynastic line. Milow was originally devoted to education, founding a girls' school in Skövde 1887–1902 with the patronage of the wealthy philanthropist Consul (1812–1907). He also urged her to pursue further studies in England and Germany. Carl Lindhagen
Carl Albert Lindhagen (17 December 1860 – 11 March 1946) was a Swedish lawyer, politician, and pacifist. Carl Lindhagen was the chief magistrate (''borgmästare'') of Stockholm 1903–1930 (i.e. a legal position, not mayor). Life Lindhagen was born in Stockholm. He was the son of Albert Lindhagen and the brother of Anna Lindhagen and Arthur Lindhagen. He studied law in Uppsala. As a lawyer, Lindhagen participated as adviser for the executives of the testament of Alfred Nobel. He was the secretary of the Nobel Committee in 1899, and at times he was suggested as a nominee to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, for his anti-militarism commitments. He started his political career in the Liberal party, which in the time before democracy was considered a radical movement. Gustaf Kilman
Gustaf Olof Falhem Kilman (9 July 1882 – 21 February 1946) was a Swedish Army officer and horse rider who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics and in the 1920 Summer Olympics. In 1912 he and his horse ''Gåtan'' (The riddle) were part of the Swedish equestrian team, which won the gold medal in the team jumping. Eight years later he finished 15th in the individual jumping event with his horse ''Irving''. Kilman was a captain in the Swedish Army.
