Fritz W. Egli, (born June 30, 1937 in Zurich) is a Swiss former motorcycle racer. He is known as a motorcycle frame specialist, and engine tuner. History Egli founded his motorcycle speed shop in 1965. One of his first vehicles included a Vincent Black Shadow, with what was to become his signature large diameter central tube which won a 1968 motorcycle hill climb championship. He went on to become famous for his frame designs for the large Japanese motorcycle engines of the 1970s, especially the Honda CB750 Four and the first big four-stroke motorcycles of Kawasaki. His large diameter tube frame design later incorporated a honeycomb internal section which was suggested by a visiting Australian in 1979. This suggestion greatly increased the rigidity of the frame. Pierre Favre (born 2 June 1937) is a Swiss jazz drummer and percussionist born in Le Locle, Switzerland. 1964 Pierre Favre joins Paiste: At the 1964 Paiste drummer meeting in Frankfurt, Pierre met the Paiste brothers who invited him to visit their factory in Nottwil. Since Pierre has always been interested in cymbals, he was most enthusiastic about accepting their invitation. The Paiste brothers were so impressed with his keen interest and attentive attitude, they offered him a position on their staff to take care of the most important task: cymbal development, quality control and to establish an education/drummer service dept. Pierre left Paiste as a full time employee in 1970 and was replaced by Fredy Studer. He recorded the album ''Singing Drums'' (ECM Records, ECM, 1984) with Paul Motian and Nana Vasconcelos. Niele Toroni (born 15 March 1937 in Muralto) is a Swiss painter. He lives and works in Paris. Work In 1966 Toroni started a practice he calls "Travail-Peinture". Toroni's method, brushstrokes made with imprints of a no. 50 paintbrush repeated at perpendicular 30 centimeter intervals, was first shown at a debut in 1967 in Paris at an exhibition-performance at the Salon de la Jeune Peinture in the Musèe d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. That same year, Toroni founded the BMPT (art group) together with Daniel Buren, Olivier Mosset, and Michel Parmentier.
