Amanda Kerfstedt
Hilda Augusta ''Amanda'' Kerfstedt, née ''Hallström'' (5 June 1835, in Eskilstuna – 10 April 1920, in Stockholm), was a Swedish novelist, playwright and translator. She was a popular and noted writer in late 19th and early 20th century Sweden, and participated in the public debate. She was also engaged in the movement for women's rights, and active in the Fredrika Bremer Association and Married Woman's Property Rights Association. As a feminist, she focused on the debate around sexual equality, and was critical to the contemporary sexual double standards for men and women. As such, she was one of the participants in the Nordic sexual morality debate, the public debate in Swedish papers, books and plays, which took place during the 1880s. Kerfstedt was a member of the women's association Nya Idun and one of its first committee members. Adolf Ludvig Stierneld
Adolf Ludvig Stierneld, Baron Stierneld (1 September 1755 – 31 July 1835) was a Swedish nobleman, courtier and collector of historical documents. Recent historical research has revealed him to be one of best and most prolific document forgers in Swedish history. Biography He was the son of Samuel Gustaf Stierneld and Kristina Brigitta Falker. In 1781, his father inscribed him to the military to become captain of the Royal Life Regiment of Horse. From 1778 onward, he served as courtier to Sophia Magdalena, Queen consort of Sweden. Stierneld appeared among the opposition to Gustavus III, King of Sweden in the Riksdag of 1786 and 1789, where he was one of the leaders of the nobility. During the Riksdag of 1789, he belonged to the members of the noble opposition against the absolutist reform of the Union and Security Act, and consequently belonged to the opposition arrested by the monarch during the Riksdag. Sofia Lovisa Gråå née ''Palm'', (1749 – 8 May 1835ssa.stockholm.seKlara döda/ref>) was a Swedish educator of actors, and noted for innovations that in modern times would be described as feminist. Biography Sofia Lovisa Palm was from 1788 married to Fredrik Gabriel Gråå, the interpreter for the Russian embassy in Stockholm, who died in 1795. She was principal of the Royal Dramatic Training Academy, the acting school of Sweden's Royal Dramatic Theatre, in Stockholm, from 1804 to 1812. She also, during her period as principal, oversaw student housing, with the female students in fact living in her home. Gråå advocated for continuation of the French acting traditions introduced in the 1793–1798 tenure of the French-born and -trained Anne Marie Milan Desguillons and her husband Joseph. Georg Adlersparre
Count Georg Adlersparre (March 28, 1760 – September 23, 1835) was a Sweden, Swedish army commander, politician and writer from the Adlersparre family. He was the leader of the Coup of 1809, leading to the deposition of King Gustav IV Adolf of Sweden. Biography Adlersparre was born in Hovermo (now a part of Berg Municipality, Jämtland County). Having entered the army at the age of 15, he received from King Gustav III of Sweden, Gustav III, in 1791, a secret commission to excite the Norway, Norwegians to rebellion. After the death of the king, he left the army and devoted himself to writing and politics. In 1797–1801, he published the periodical ''Läsing i blandade ämnen''. The liberalism, liberal spirit in which he conducted it brought upon him the suspicions of the government. In 1802, he was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Anders Ljungstedt
Anders Ljungstedt (; 23 March 1759 – 10 November 1835) was a Swedish merchant and historian. Early career Ljungstedt was born to a poor family in Linköping and attended Uppsala University for a time, but was forced to withdraw for lack of funds. In 1784, he went to Russia, where he worked as a teacher for ten years. Following his return to Sweden, he obtained employment in the Swedish government and served as Russian interpreter for king Gustav IV Adolf during his journey to Russia. Career in Macau Ljungstedt was later hired by the Swedish East India Company, but after it folded, he moved to Macau, where he resided for the rest of his life working as a merchant. The King of Sweden later made him a Knight of the Order of Vasa, and in 1820 he was also appointed Sweden's first consul general in China. Eleonora Charlotta d'Albedyhll, née ''Wrangel'', (27 March 1770, Stockholm – 4 June 1835), was a Swedish countess, poet and salon holder. She hosted a literary salon in Uppsala 1812-1835 and has been described as the center of the salon in Uppsala during the Romantic era. She is known as the patron of Per Daniel Amadeus Atterbom, who greatly admired her, and as one of the earliest supporters of the ''Fosforisterna'', a group of romantic poets in Uppsala. Life Eleonora Charlotta d'Albedyhll was the daughter of riksråd count Anders Reinhold Wrangel and Eleonora Mariana Barnekow. In 1795, she married baron Gustaf d'Albedyhll and moved to Nyköping. Her marriage was described as happy. Already during her early years, she was known to be intelligent, educated and a talented intellectual, and she was also described as a beauty.
