Frederik Nannestad
Frederik Nannestad (21 October 1693 – 11 August 1774) was a Norwegian theologian, author, and bishop. Biography Frederik Nannestad was born at Eidsberg in Østfold, Norway. He was the son of Christopher Jenssen Nannestad (1633–1707) and his third wife, Karen Tønnesdatter Unrow (1652–1716). He father had been a parish priest in the Church of Norway. Nannestad received his master's degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1718. Initially he remained in the academic environment. In 1732 he became the dean in Aarhus. On 6 August 1732, he married Martha Elizabeth Jensdatter Wissing (1712–1734). She died two years later and he remained a widower for the rest of his life. In 1742 he received his doctorate of theology. On 11 May 1748, he was appointed the bishop of the Diocese of Nidaros. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. He took the examen artium in Stavanger in 1949, and a teacher's education in Kristiansand in 1952. He studied philology in Oslo and Bergen, and graduated with the cand.philol. degree in 1957. is the largest Norwegian biographical encyclopedia. The first edition (NBL1) was issued between 1921 and 1983, including 19 volumes and 5,100 articles. Teis Lundegaard
Theis Jacob Thorkildsen Lundegaard (8 October 1774 – 26 February 1856) was a Norwegian farmer, shipowner and politician. He represented Lister amt (now Vest-Agder) at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly in 1814. He was elected to the Parliament of Norway from 1815 to 1816, from 1821 to 1822, from 1827 to 1833, and in 1845. Background Teis Lundegaard was the son of a peasant farmer in the parish of Austad in Vest-Agder who died when Teis was three years old. He grew up in conditions of poverty. He eventually started trading and soon became the skipper and owner of several coastal freighters. Having become prosperous, he invested in the land and settled in Austad as a well-to-do farmer, becoming a leading man in the community. Ole Clausen Mørch
Ole Clausen Mørch (2 August 1774 – 4 July 1829) was a Norwegian merchant and banker. He served as a representative at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. He was born in Christianssand in Vest-Agder, Norway. He was the son of a merchant, Claus Mørch. After his father's death in 1797, he inherited his father's business and a number of properties. From 1825 to 1828 he was Director of Christianssands Sparebank, one of the first savings banks in Norway. In 1814, Ole Clausen Mørch was elected to the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll as a representative of Christianssand.
