C. J. Wilson (safety)
Gerald Dwayne Wilson (born April 2, 1985) is a former American football cornerback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Carolina Panthers. He was selected by the Panthers in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL draft. He played college football at Baylor. He was also a member of the Dallas Cowboys. Early life Wilson attended Terrell High School. As a senior, he contributed to the team having a 9-3 record, while making 37 tackles, 6 interceptions and 7 passes defensed. He was named All-district, 16-4A Defensive Player of the Year and the Terrell Tribune Co-Athlete of the Year. He was a two-time All-district selection in basketball. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. Lenzy Ramon Pipkins (born November 7, 1993) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Louisiana–Monroe and Oklahoma State. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2017. History The Polytechnic Heights community originally grew around the Manchester Cotton Mill and merged with the city of Fort Worth in 1922.
