C. J. Leslie
Calvin "C. J." Leslie (born June 25, 1991) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for North Carolina State. High school career Leslie attended Word of God Christian Academy for three years where he played with John Wall for two of those three. In his senior year, he was selected to participate in the McDonald's All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic. College career Leslie signed with North Carolina State out of high school. As a freshman at North Carolina State, Leslie was second on the team in points per game averaging 11.0 points, also leading the Wolfpack in rebounding averaging 7.2 rebounds per game. At the end of the season, Leslie was named to the ACC All-Freshmen Team. During his sophomore season he led the team in scoring averaging 14.7 points per game. Holly Springs is a town in Wake County, North Carolina, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town population was 41,239, a 67% increase from 2010. History Etymology The town's name refers to the free flowing springs that emerge into a stream and small lake surrounded by large mature holly trees. Al Nassr, sometimes known as Al Nassr Riyadh, is a Saudi professional basketball club based in Riyadh. The team plays in the Saudi Premier League, the national top league, as well as in the West Asia Super League (WASL). Al Nassr plays its home games in the Green Basketball Court. History Founded in 1955, Al Nassr has a competing basketball team. They won their first-ever Saudi championship after winning the Saudi Premier League in 2021. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The Jordan Brand Classic is a high school All-Star basketball game played annually in April. The game's rosters feature the best and most highly recruited high school boys in the senior class including alumns like Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum and Zion Williamson. The game takes its name from the chief organizer, Jordan Brand, a division of Nike named after Michael Jordan. Johnathan Hildred Wall Jr. (born September 6, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The last of these competitions replaced separate overall timed skills competitions for boys and girls. It is rare for girls to compete in the slam dunk contest.
