Early life Chester B. Cebulski is of Polish descent. Since he was 20 years old, C. B. Cebulski has lived off and on in Japan, where members of his family reside. Conan the Barbarian by Robert E. Howard was first adapted into comics in 1952 in Mexico. Marvel Comics began publishing Conan comics with the series ''Conan the Barbarian'' in 1970. Ralph Macchio ( ; born December 28, 1950) is an American comic book editor and writer who has held many positions at Marvel Comics, including executive editor. Macchio is commonly associated with '' Daredevil'', the Spider-Man line of comics, and the Ultimate Marvel line. Macchio is not related to the actor Ralph Macchio, but is nicknamed "Karate Kid" after that actor's famous role. Early life As a young man, Macchio was a comics fan and "letterhack," and had many letters printed in Marvel comic books. His background, however, was in English literature, and he considered teaching as a career.
