Club Volei Municipal Tomis Constanța, also known as C.V.M. Tomis Constanța, C.V.M. Tomis or Tomis Constanța, is a Romanian volleyball club based in Constanța. Martin Stoev
Martin Stoyanov Stoev ( bg, Мартин Стоянов Стоев; born 3 December 1971 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian volleyball coach and former player. He currently is head coach of the Romanian team CVM Tomis Constanța. He played volleyball from 1984 until 2005, with over 200 caps with the Bulgarian national team. He was a 3 time National champion of Bulgaria (twice with the team of Levski Siconco, one with Minior Buhovo). Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. 2014–15 CEV Champions League
The 2014–15 CEV Champions League was the 56th edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. Participating teams League round 28 teams have been drawn to 7 pools of 4 teams each. In each pool, the competition is organised on the basis of a double round-robin system. Each team will thus play 6 matches: twice against each opponent. In the League Round, the placing of the teams is determined by the number of matches won. In case of a tie in the number of matches won by two or more teams, they will be ranked on the basis of the following criteria: *match points; *set quotient (the number of total sets won divided by the number of total sets lost); *points quotient (the number of total points scored divided by the number of total points lost); *results of head-to-head matches between the teams in question. The CEV Cup is the second tier official competition for men's Volleyball clubs of Europe. The competition takes place every year. Until 2000, it was the CEV Cup Winners' Cup. Andrey Zhekov
Andrey Zhekov ( bg, Андрей Жеков; born March 12, 1980) is a former Bulgarian volleyball player and current head coach of Levski Volley. He entered the national team in 1998 at the age of 18. 190 cm tall and weighing 82 kg Zhekov is the former setter of the Bulgarian national team. Club Champion of Bulgaria with the teams of Levski Volley and Slavia Sofia. Zhekov is married and has two children. In an interview Zhekov says that he'll not be playing in the 2012–13 season. Vencislav Simeonov ( Bulgarian: Венцислав Симеонов, born February 3, 1977, in Plovdiv) is a Bulgarian-Italian volleyball player with a height 200 cm and a weight of 105 kg, playing as opposite-hitter. He was born in Bulgaria. He was a member of the Italian men's national team, that won the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
