Huyton
Huyton ( ) is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, Merseyside, England. Part of the Liverpool Urban Area, it borders the Liverpool suburbs of Dovecot, Knotty Ash and Belle Vale, and the neighbouring village of Roby, with which it formed Huyton with Roby Urban District between 1894 and 1974. Historically in Lancashire, Huyton was an ancient parish which in the mid-19th century contained Croxteth Park, Knowsley and Tarbock, in addition to the township of Huyton-with-Roby. Charles Francis Mott
Charles Francis Mott (1877–1967) the son of Charles Henry Blackshaw Mott was an English physicist and educator, and the father of Nobel laureate Nevill Francis Mott. In 1901 while at the Cavendish Laboratory he attempted to investigate the field effect following a suggestion from J. J. Thomson. page 213 He married Lilian Mary Reynolds, also a researcher at the Cavendish lab. By 1905 he was the Senior Science Master at Giggleswick School. His wife also taught mathematics there. Caroline Aherne
Caroline Mary Aherne (24 December 1963 – 2 July 2016) was an English actress, comedian and writer. Julian David Cope (born 21 October 1957) is an English musician and author. Philip Selway
Philip James Selway (born 23 May 1967) is an English musician and the drummer of the English rock band Radiohead. Along with the other members of Radiohead, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
