C.D. Muxes
Club Deportivo Muxes is a Mexican football club that plays in the Liga TDP, the Mexican third division. The club is based in Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City. It is the first professional Mexican football club declared as LGBT. History The team was founded in 2018 with the aim of representing the LGBT community that until then had not had a representative club, in addition to generating spaces for the visibility of these groups. In its origins, the team competed in amateur leagues in Mexico City. In 2020 the team joined the Mexican Football Federation, Subsequently, the club registered in the Liga TDP, being placed in Group IV with other teams from the Greater Mexico City. On 25 September 2020, the team played its first official match. Muxes defeated FC Politécnico by a score of 0–4. Muxe
In Zapotec cultures of Oaxaca (southern Mexico), a muxe (also spelled muxhe; ) is a person assigned male at birth who dresses and behaves in ways otherwise associated with women; they may be seen as a third gender. Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City
The Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City is an Olympic Park which was used during the 1968 Summer Olympics. Found in the area of Mexico City known as the Magdalena Mixhuca, the park continues to serve as a venue for cultural, social, worship and sport events. Liga TDP
The Liga TDP is Mexico's fourth tier in the Mexican League System. The Liga TDP is divided into 17 groups. For the 2009/2010 season, the format of the tournament has been reorganized to a home and away format, which all teams will play in their respective group. The 17 groups consist of teams which are eligible to play in the liguilla de ascenso for three promotion spots, teams which are affiliated with teams in the Liga MX, Liga de Expansión MX and Liga Premier, which are not eligible for promotion but will play that who the better filial team in a sixteen team filial playoff tournament for the entire season. Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City
Venustiano Carranza is a borough (''demarcación territorial'') in the Mexico City. Venustiano Carranza extends from the far eastern portion of the historic center of Mexico City eastward to the Peñón de los Baños and the border dividing the then Federal District from the State of Mexico. Historically, most of the territory was under Lake Texcoco, but over the colonial period into the 20th century, the lake dried up and today the area is completely urbanized.
