Bōken Korobokkuru
''Bōken Korobokkuru'' (, also known as ''Adventures Of Korobokkle'', ''Korobockle Adventures'' and ''The Mountain Gnomes'') is a Children's anime and manga, kodomo anime series. It was an adaptation of the children's book ''Stories of Korobokkle'' by Satoru Sato, which was itself based on some northern Japan's folktales from Ainu people. It consisted of 26 episodes and was originally broadcast on Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation, Yomiuri TV. According to Jonathan Clements and Helen McCarthy's ''The Anime Encyclopedia'', it was "a foreshadowing of later Studio Ghibli efforts like ''Pompoko'' and ''My Neighbor Totoro''." The studio's name has a double meaning in Japanese: "Tatsu's child" (Tatsu is a nickname for Tatsuo) and " sea dragon", the inspiration for its seahorse logo. My Neighbor Totoro
is a 1988 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and animated by Studio Ghibli for Tokuma Shoten. The film—which stars the voice actors Noriko Hidaka, Chika Sakamoto, and Hitoshi Takagi—tells the story of a professor's two young daughters (Satsuki and Mei) and their interactions with friendly wood spirits in postwar rural Japan. Topcraft (トップクラフト ''Toppukurafuto'', also written as "Top Craft") was an animation studio established on February 1, 1972 by former Toei Animation producer Toru Hara, and located in Tokyo, Japan. It was famous for the production of '' Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind'' and for doing animation for hand-drawn animation titles by Rankin/Bass Productions (New York City, USA). The studio went bankrupt and dissolved on June 15, 1985, essentially splitting the studio in half. Hayao Miyazaki, Toshio Suzuki and Isao Takahata formed Studio Ghibli. It was published in 2001 by Stone Bridge Press in the United States, and a "revised and expanded" edition was released in 2006. In the United Kingdom, it was published by Titan Books. The third edition was released on 3 March 2015 with the subtitle of ''A Century of Japanese Animation''. It gives an overview of most of the famous anime works since 1917.
