Bühl (Baden)
The city of Bühl ( Low Alemannic: ''Bihl'') is part of the district of Rastatt in the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It has a history reaching back to the twelfth century and was formerly an agricultural town, especially famous for its plums. Bühl has a population of about 29,000, and is in the region between the Rhine Valley and the Black Forest. Today it is mainly an industrial town, especially in the car manufacturing supply industry. Yet it still has preserved its character and is also renowned for its good restaurants. Bühl is a town in the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, about South of Baden-Baden. Bühl is the third largest town in Rastatt County (Landkreis), after Rastatt itself and Gaggenau. Bühl (Klettgau)
Klettgau ( High Alemannic: ''Chleggau'') is a municipality in the district of Waldshut in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is the centre of the ''Klettgau'' historical region stretching across the Swiss border into the cantons of Aargau, Schaffhausen and Zürich. The municipal area includes the villages of Bühl, Erzingen, Geißlingen, Grießen, Rechberg, Riedern am Sand, and Weisweil. Geography Klettgau is located on the Klingengraben and Schwarzbach creeks. In the east it borders on the Swiss municipalities of Trasadingen, Wilchingen and Wasterkingen. The neighbouring German municipalities are Wutöschingen, Lauchringen, Küssaberg, and Hohentengen am Hochrhein in the west, as well as Dettighofen in the east. There is a border crossing into Switzerland on the road from Erzingen to Trasadingen. Bühl is a village in the Tübingen district in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Since 1971, it is an outer district of the city of Tübingen. Bühl has a population of 2 194 on an area of 6,41 km². Bühl Bei Aarberg
Bühl bei Aarberg (or simply Bühl) is a municipality in the Seeland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. History Bühl is first mentioned in 1261 as ''Bule''. During the 13th century the land and rights over the village were owned by the Counts of Kyburg and the Kyburg Ministerialis (unfree knights in the service of a feudal overlord) families of Schüpfen, Mattstetten and Mörigen. It was part of the ''Herrschaft'' of Nidau, which was partly acquired by Bern in 1388 and fully acquired in 1393. Under Bernese control Bühl was combined with Walperswil to form a community that was known as the Upper County. Bühl was also part of the parish of Walperswil. It remained a small farming community for most of its history. While agriculture is still important in Bühl, over half of the residents commute to jobs in neighboring cities and towns. SV Schaffhausen is a Switzerland, Swiss football (soccer), football club based in Schaffhausen, in the north of the country. It was founded in 1922. The club colors are black and white. Alfons Bühl (1900–1988) was a German physicist. From 1934 to 1945, he was director of the physics department at the ''Technische Hochschule Karlsruhe''. Education From 1919 to 1925, Bühl studied physics at the ''Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität'' (today, the ''Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin'') and the '' Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg''. Hede Bühl (8 June 1940, Haan, near Düsseldorf) is a German sculptor who lives and works in Düsseldorf. She studied under Joseph Beuys and worked in the studio of Ewald Mataré. Her work has received numerous awards, including the Villa Romana prize (1973), the Villa Massimo fellowship (1979), and the Käthe Kollwitz Prize from the Academy of Arts, Berlin (2007).
