Bávaro
Bávaro is an area of Punta Cana, located in La Altagracia province, the easternmost province of the Dominican Republic. Bavaro was originally developed as a town for resort workers together with the resort area and tourist region of Punta Cana. As hotels started to rise along the east coast, north from Punta Cana, Bavaro itself became a center of services. Road network Bávaro starts at a crossroad Verón, after the town of Higüey and the small village of Otra Banda, and extends north until the crossroad for Macao Beach. Other beaches to the North include Uvero Alto beach, Roco Ki beach, La Vacama beach. Bavaro has of sea shore. At the center of Bávaro is the crossroad of Friusa. Beyond the crossroad Verón, on the right side is an important road to Cabeza de Toro, most eastern tip of the island of Hispaniola, and the Dominican Republic as well. Punta Cana
Punta Cana is a resort town in the easternmost region of the Dominican Republic. It is part of the Veron–Punta Cana Municipalities of the Dominican Republic, municipal district, in the Salvaleón de Higüey, Higüey municipality of La Altagracia Province. According to the 2010 census, this district had a population of 43,982 inhabitants. Punta Cana is the second-most popular tourist destination in Latin America, with more visitors than any other city in the Caribbean region. Punta Cana International Airport
Punta Cana International Airport is a privately owned commercial airport in Punta Cana, eastern Dominican Republic. The airport was built with open-air terminals and roofs covered in palm fronds. Grupo Punta Cana built the airport, which was designed by architect Oscar Imbert, and inaugurated it in December 1983. It is owned by Grupo Punta Cana and became the first privately owned international airport in the world. The airport is the busiest in the Dominican Republic, and the second-busiest of the Caribbean, only behind Puerto Rico's Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. Rolando Gonzalez-Bunster (born c. 1947) is a US-based Argentine businessman. He is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of InterEnergy Group, an UK-based energy company active in the Dominican Republic, Panama, Chile, Jamaica and Uruguay. Macao Beach
'Macao Beach'', or 'Playa Macao'', is a public beach located in the province La Altagracia in the east region of the Dominican Republic. It is popular among locals and visitors for its white sands, clear waters and those who seek some adventure since this is a popular destiny for buggy and four wheels riders and surfers. This is one of the only beaches of the Dominican Republic apt for surfing. Macao Beach has a Certificate of Excellence in TripAdvisors and is highly rated by this community.
