Bárbara Bermudo
Bárbara Bermudo (born June 5, 1975) is a Puerto Rican journalist and one of the eight cover subjects of the 2007 edition of '' People en Español''s "50 Most Beautiful People". TV and film career Bermudo, who was born in Guaynabo to a Puerto Rican mother and a Cuban father, has a degree in journalism from American University in Washington, D.C., was the host of '' Primer Impacto'', a Spanish language news program which covers predominantly human interest stories and is popular among the Hispanic population in the United States, until she was laid off on January 5, 2017. Bermudo joined the program in 2002 when the show's original host María Celeste Arrarás had left and co-hosted it Myrka Dellanos until she left in 2004, and also with Fernando Del Rincón until he was let go in 2008. Guaynabo (, ) is a city, suburb of San Juan and municipality in the northern part of Puerto Rico, located in the northern coast of the island, north of Aguas Buenas, south of Cataño, east of Bayamón, and west of San Juan. The recorded history of Puerto Rican women can trace its roots back to the era of the ''Taíno'', the indigenous people of the Caribbean, who inhabited the island that they called "Boriken" before the arrival of Spaniards.
