Byron Rojas
Byron Hasael Rojas Hernandez (born 23 June 1990) is a Nicaraguan professional boxer who held the WBA minimumweight title in 2016. Career Rojas took up boxing after being bullied in his teenage years. He was first trained by Roger Rivas. He became an amateur national champion before turning professional. Rojas drew three times in his first ten fights, and he also lost two bouts around that time, both by split decision. Rojas won his first regional title, the Nicaraguan minimumweight title, on 30 November 2013, with a unanimous decision win over Jose Aguilar. Rojas defended his title on 22 August 2015, defeating Byron Castellón in a wide unanimous decision (98-93, 97–93, 97–92). On his next fight, Rojas would go on to face WBA and IBO minimumweight champion Hekkie Budler in Kempton Park. Alexis Argüello
Alexis Argüello (April 19, 1952 – July 1, 2009) was a Nicaraguan professional boxer who competed from 1968 to 1995, and later became a politician. He was a three-weight world champion, having held the WBA featherweight title from 1974 to 1976; the WBC super featherweight title from 1978 to 1980; and the WBC lightweight title from 1981 to 1982. Additionally, he held the ''Ring'' magazine and lineal featherweight titles from 1975 to 1977; the ''Ring'' lightweight title from 1981 to 1982; and the lineal lightweight title in 1982. In his later career he challenged twice for light welterweight world titles, both times in famous fights against Aaron Pryor. Chinandega () is a city and the departmental seat of Chinandega department in Nicaragua. It is also the administrative centre of the surrounding municipality of the same name. Estelí (), officially Villa de San Antonio de Pavia de Estelí is a city and municipality within the Estelí department. It is the 3rd largest city in Nicaragua due to the high urbanization of its municipality, at 83%, with an urban population of 120,014 (2017 estimate). Masaya
Masaya () is the capital city of Masaya Department in Nicaragua. It is situated approximately 14 km west of Granada and 31 km southeast of Managua. It is located just east of the Masaya Volcano, an active volcano from which the city takes its name. With an estimated population of 136,584 (2021), it is Nicaragua's fourth most populous city, and is culturally known as the City of Flowers.
