Byron Kane
Byron Kane (May 9, 1923 – April 10, 1984) was a radio and film actor and producer. He was known for his collaborations with Blake Edwards and for his voice work."Obituaries". His debut in radio came when, at age 17, he followed actress Jane Morgan (actress), Jane Morgan into CBS studios. Once inside, he read an audition for Norman Corwin and gained the juvenile lead for the program being cast. Kane narrated the short ''Polly Wants a Doctor'' (1944). While Kane was stationed at Camp Fannin in 1943, he helped with Orson Welles's production of a radio program "to officially launch the Fifth War Loan drive." Blake Edwards
Blake Edwards (born William Blake Crump; July 26, 1922 – December 15, 2010) was an American film director, producer, screenwriter and actor. Edwards began his career in the 1940s as an actor, but he soon began writing screenplays and radio scripts before turning to producing and directing in television and films. The Hardy Boys (1969 TV Series)
''The Hardy Boys'' is an American animated series, produced by Filmation and aired Saturday mornings on ABC in 1969. It features the Hardy Boys, Joe and Frank, along with their friends Chubby Morton, Wanda Kay Breckenridge, and Pete Jones (one of the first black characters to appear on Saturday morning television) touring as a rock band while solving mysteries. The series is also notable for its opening and closing credits, in which the Hardys appeared in live action. The series debuted at the same time as Hanna-Barbera's similarly themed ''Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!'', which aired on CBS. The series is noteworthy for including the producers' rotating wheel for the first time, which would make Filmation a household name. The Margaret Herrick Library, located in Beverly Hills, California, is the main repository of print, graphic and research materials of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). The library contains a digital repository and has historical materials that include those relating to the Oscars awards show. Samuel George Davis Jr. (December 8, 1925 – May 16, 1990) was an American singer, dancer, actor, comedian, film producer and television director. At age three, Davis began his career in vaudeville with his father Sammy Davis Sr. and the Will Mastin Trio, which toured nationally, and his film career began in 1933. After military service, Davis returned to the trio and became an overnight sensation following a nightclub performance at Ciro's (in West Hollywood) after the 1951 Academy Awards. With the trio, he became a recording artist. In 1954, at the age of 29, he lost his left eye in a car accident.
