Byron Boston
Byron Boston is an American football official in the National Football League (NFL) since the 1995 NFL season. He is a line judge and wears the uniform number 18. During his NFL officiating career, Boston was assigned Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000 and has worked two wild card playoff games (1999 and 2005), three divisional playoff games (1996, 2002, and 2003), and three conference championship games (1997, 1998, and 2005). Boston graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas with a bachelor's degree in Economics. He began his officiating career in 1977 in Dallas, Texas where he worked Texas high school football from 1977 to 1984, which included two State Championship games. Holiday Bowl
The Holiday Bowl is a post-season NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision college football bowl game that has been played in San Diego since 1978. San Diego County Credit Union has been the game's title sponsor since 2017, and the bowl has been officially known as the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl. Past editions of the bowl were played at San Diego Stadium. Future editions are planned to be played at Petco Park in San Diego, under a five-year arrangement reached in 2021. Petco Park, the baseball park of the San Diego Padres, will be reconfigured to accommodate a football field. San Diego Stadium was demolished beginning in the autumn of 2020. Walt Anderson (American Football)
Walter John Anderson (born September 29, 1952) is a former American football official in the National Football League (NFL) from the 1996 NFL season to the 2019 NFL season. He wore uniform number 66. Anderson spent his first seven seasons in the NFL as a line judge before being promoted to referee for the start of the 2003 NFL season after Dick Hantak and Bob McElwee announced their retirements. He is notable for officiating Super Bowl XXXV. Anderson was also named as referee for Super Bowl XLV which was played on February 6, 2011, in Arlington, Texas, at Cowboys Stadium.
