Byron Bell
Byron Michael Bell (born January 17, 1989) is a former American football offensive tackle. He played college football at New Mexico, and was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Early years Bell attended Greenville High School, where he played offensive tackle for the Lions football team. He also was a Golden Gloves boxer, but gave up the sport as a senior, when he started being recruited by colleges. He received All-state honors as a senior. He accepted a football scholarship from the University of New Mexico. As a freshman, he played in one game and missed the rest of the season with a knee injury. The next year, he started 12 games at right tackle, while allowing only 3 sacks and helping the team to average 204.9 rushing yards per game, ranking third in the conference and 16th in the nation. Tackle (gridiron Football Position)
Tackle is a playing position in gridiron football. Historically, in the one-platoon system prevalent in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a tackle played on both offense and defense. In the modern system of specialized units, offensive tackle and defensive tackle are separate positions, and the stand-alone term "tackle" refers to the offensive tackle position only. The offensive tackle (OT, T) is a position on the offensive line, left and right. Like other offensive linemen, their job is to block: to physically keep defenders away from the offensive player who has the football and enable him to advance the football and eventually score a touchdown. Douglas Free (born January 16, 1984) is a former American football offensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He was drafted by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Northern Illinois University. Taylor Curtis Lewan (born July 22, 1991) is an American football tackle for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan, where he twice received first-team All-American honors, and was selected by the Titans in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. During his NFL career, Lewan was named to three consecutive Pro Bowls from 2016 to 2018. Early years Lewan was born in Sacramento, California on July 22, 1991 to Dave Lewan and Kelly Riley. Michael Roos (born Mihkel Roos, October 5, 1982) is a former football offensive tackle who played his entire career for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Titans in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Eastern Washington. High school career Roos was named second-team All- GSHL as tight end at Mountain View High School in Vancouver, Washington after recording 18 receptions for 306 yards and three touchdowns as a senior under head coach Mike Woodward, now head coach of Woodland High School in Woodland, WA. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played.
