Alex Márta (born 6 June 1984), better known by his stage name ByeAlex, is a Hungarian Hungarian indie, indie pop singer, songwriter, journalist, and novelist. He Hungary in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, represented Hungary in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden, with the song "Kedvesem", coming 10th in the final. In 2014 his debut novel ''Özséb, egy öngyilkos Miskolcon'' (Özséb, a suicide in Miskolc) was published in Hungary. In the Summer of 2015, ByeAlex decided to add 'és a Slepp' ('and the Slepp') to the name of band referring to the following musicians playing with Alex: Szeifert Bálint – bass guitar, vocals, Schnellbach Dávid – guitar, Tóth G. Kisvárda (; german: Kleinwardein, yi, קליינווארדיין, Kleynvardeyn) is a town in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary near the border of Slovakia and Ukraine. The Eurovision Song Contest 2013 was the 58th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Malmö, Sweden, following the country's victory at the with the song "Euphoria" by Loreen. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT), the contest was held at Malmö Arena and consisted of two semi-finals on 14 and 16 May, and a final on 18 May 2013. ''A Dal'' (English: The Song) is an annual music competition in Hungary organised by the national broadcaster Duna and was the national selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest between 2012 and 2019. The contest was introduced in 2012. The contest was introduced by the MTVA, the organisers of the contest, with a different philosophy than the contest used previously. A Dal was introduced to produce a Hungarian contest, with Hungarian musical tastes being presented to a European audience.
