''By Request'' is the first greatest hits album by Irish boy band Boyzone. It was released on 31 May 1999 by Universal. The album is their best selling release to date, with sales of over 4 million copies worldwide. Background The album contains all of the band's singles release since the start of their career in 1994, with the exception of the Irish-only single "Working My Way Back to You", the Japanese only-single "Believe in Me", the American-only single "Mystical Experience", which appears as a bonus track on the Australian release, "Te Garder Pres De Moi", which appears as a bonus track on the French release, and " Everyday I Love You", which despite being an international release, only appears on the Asian release of the album, and was released as a single from ''The Singles Collection: 1994-1999'' in the United Kingdom. Boyzone
Boyzone were an Irish boy band, created in 1993 by talent manager Louis Walsh. Before even recording any material, Boyzone made an appearance on RTÉ's '' The Late Late Show''. Their most successful line-up was composed of Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch. As of 2018, Boyzone have released seven studio albums and nine compilation albums. In 2012, the Official Charts Company revealed the biggest selling singles artists in British music chart history, with Boyzone currently placed at 29th and the second most successful boy band in Britain, behind Take That. A boy band is loosely defined as a vocal group consisting of young male singers, usually in their teenage years or in their twenties at the time of formation. No Matter What (Boyzone Song)
"No Matter What" is a song from the 1996 musical '' Whistle Down the Wind'' that was popularised by Irish boyband Boyzone in 1998 when they recorded it to tie in with the show's first UK production. The song was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman, while Lloyd Webber, Steinman and Nigel Wright produced the track, with additional production by Franglen & Lupino. The song was also featured on the US edition of the soundtrack to the 1999 film ''Notting Hill'', and was released to American radio on 10 May 1999. The song became their fourth number-one on the UK Singles Chart, with its three-week stay atop the chart making it Boyzone's longest-running number-one single. It also became the band's first and only song to have any chart success in the US. Jewels & Stone did a remix for the song for dance clubs which was popular. Chuck Cannon
Marion Cletus Cannon Jr., known professionally as Chuck Cannon, is an American country music songwriter. His compositions include hit singles for Toby Keith and John Michael Montgomery. Cannon has also received awards for Broadcast Music Incorporated, as well as an Academy of Country Music award for Song of the Year. He is the widower of country music singer-songwriter Lari White. Early life Marion Cletus Cannon Jr. was born and raised in South Carolina. His father was a Pentecostal preacher. He was inspired at an early age by local folk songs as well as black spiritual songs. He later performed at local venues, then moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1984 to attend Belmont University. By 1988, he was signed to a songwriting contract. Victoria Lynn Shaw (born July 13, 1962) is an American country singer. She has recorded four studio albums, and has charted five singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. In addition, she has co-written four Number One singles for other country music artists, including Garth Brooks' " The River" as featured on the multi-million selling album Ropin' The Wind and John Michael Montgomery's "I Love the Way You Love Me", which won the 1993 Academy of Country Music award for Song of the Year.
