Buzz Ritchie
Walter Jaycox "Buzz" Ritchie, Jr. (born June 7, 1947, in Bay Shore, New York) is an American banker and politician. He previously served as a Representative in the House of Representatives of the U.S. state of Florida. Education Ritchie received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1969. He received his Juris Doctor from UF as well in 1972. Career Ritchied served in Florida's House of Representatives in the 2nd district from November 8, 1988, to November 3, 1992, and from the 3rd district from November 3, 1992, to November 3, 1998. He is president of Gulf Coast Community Bank in Pensacola, Florida Pensacola () is the westernmost city in the Florida Panhandle, and the county seat and only incorporated city of Escambia County, Florida, United States. Florida's 3rd House District
Florida's 3rd House district elects one member of the Florida House of Representatives. The district is represented by Jayer Williamson. This district is located in the Florida Panhandle, and encompasses part of the Emerald Coast, as well as parts of the Pensacola metropolitan area and the Crestview metropolitan area. The district covers the most of Santa Rosa County and the top half of Okaloosa County. The largest city in the district is Navarre. As of the 2010 census, the district's population is 158,797. This district has a large military presence, serving as a bedroom community for the Naval Air Station Pensacola to the west and Eglin Air Force Base to the East. The Florida House of Representatives is the lower house of the Florida Legislature, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Florida, the Florida Senate being the upper house.
