''Butterfly House'' is the sixth full-length studio album by English indie rock band The Coral. The album was produced by John Leckie, whose previous collaborators include The Stone Roses and Radiohead. and was recorded at RAK studios in London as well as Rockfield in South Wales. It was released on 12 July 2010 to great critical acclaim. The album was recorded through a two-year span where the band road-tested the material. This is The Coral's first album without Bill Ryder-Jones, who departed in 2008. It peaked at #16 in the UK Album Charts but has since been a consistent seller for Deltasonic Records. The single, "1000 Years", reached #188 on the UK Singles Chart. Butterfly House, is a Mid-century modern style house built in 1951 located on Carmel Point in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Due to its unique wing-shaped roof, this building is commonly referred to as the ''Butterfly House.'' The house was designed and built by architect Francis W. Wynkoop. It is one of the few houses that is on the rocky Carmel shoreline. History The Butterfly House was designed and built by architect Francis W. Wynkoop (1902-1978). The site borders two lots at 26320 Scenic Road. Construction began in 1951 and was completed in 1952. Butterfly House, Singapore
Butterfly House, also known as 23 Amber Road, was a unique house, with a convex, semicircular plan, the 'wings' of which gave rise to the 'butterfly' nickhame for the house. It is not, in fact, laid out on a true butterfly plan in the more usual Arts and Crafts sense of the name. It was the only historic residence in Singapore to be built using this plan form, and was unique in Southeast Asia. Most of the building, including its iconic curved wings were demolished in 2008 by developers in order to make way for a high-rise residential tower on the site, leaving only a small portion of the street-facing front of the house as a token facade to the generic residential tower behind, losing the part of the structure that gave the house its moniker. Churchville Nature Center
Churchville Nature Center is a facility of the Bucks County, Pennsylvania Department of Parks and Recreation and is located in Churchville, Pennsylvania. The center focuses on environmental education, public outreach and the preservation of native wildlife through its wide range of programs, projects and surveys. The nature center offers educational programing year round through its Environmental Education and Lenape Village departments.
