Bustin' Loose (film)
''Bustin' Loose'' is a 1981 American road film, road comedy-drama film starring Richard Pryor and Cicely Tyson. It was directed by Oz Scott and Michael Schultz (uncredited) and written by Pryor, Lonne Elder III, and Roger L. Simon. Along with starring Pryor and Tyson, the film also features Robert Christian and George Coe. ''Bustin' Loose'' was produced by Michael S. Glick and Pryor. Plot Joe Braxton (Richard Pryor) is a convict who violates his parole after a failed attempt to shoplifting, lift a bunch of televisions from a store in Philadelphia. After a dramatic attempt at reverse psychology with the judge (Bill Quinn), he is given a second chance at parole, and his parole-officer, Donald (Robert Christian), has him do something for him. Osborne Scott (born September 16, 1949) is an American film director, television director, television producer and theatre director. He is most known for ''Mr. Boogedy'', the award-winning short film. Life and career Born in Hampton, Virginia, Scott attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and earned a MFA before he began his career in Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage. While at the Arena Stage, he managed the improvisational touring company The Living Stage. Gary Michael Goetzman (born November 6, 1952) is an American film and television producer and actor, and co-founder of the production company Playtone with actor Tom Hanks. Life and career Born in Los Angeles, Goetzman began his career as a child actor. Nick Dimitri
Nick Dimitri (December 27, 1932 – October 20, 2021) was an American stuntman and actor best known as Charles Bronson's character's opponent in the climax of '' Hard Times'' (1975). In addition to fisticuffs, his specialty was dying violently on screen. He was a regular stuntman on the World War II TV series ''The Rat Patrol'' and a double for action actors Sean Connery and William Smith. He helped set up the fights in ''Darker than Amber'' and ''Any Which Way You Can''. Dimitri also played Angie Dickinson's character's undead husband in the 1973 cult TV movie ''The Norliss Tapes''. Roy Cameron Jenson, also known and credited as Roy Jensen, (February 9, 1927 – April 24, 2007) was a Canadian American football player, stuntman, and actor.
