''Busted'' is the debut studio album by English pop rock band Busted. It was released in the UK in September 2002 and peaked at #2 the following January after the success of second single "Year 3000", which reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart. Background The first single released from the album was " What I Go to School For", which reached #3. This was followed by "Year 3000", which reached #2, "You Said No" and "Sleeping with the Light On". "You Said No" peaked at #1 and "Sleeping with the Light On" peaked at #3. A European only single, "Hurra, hurra, die Schule brennt", was released on the same date as "You Said No" was released in the UK. ''Busted'' was the 8th best-selling album of 2003 in the UK. Busted (band)
Busted are an English pop punk band from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, consisting of James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson. Formed in 2000, the band had four UK number-one singles, won two Brit awards, released four studio albums and sold over 5 million records. The band released '' Busted'' in 2002 and ''A Present for Everyone'' in 2003 before disbanding in January 2005. Following the split, all three members pursued separate musical careers: Simpson as the frontman for the post-hardcore band Fightstar, Bourne as the lead singer of pop punk band Son of Dork and Willis as a solo artist. The band reunited in 2016 and have stayed together since. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), Busted have been certified for 2.4 million albums and 1.8 million singles in the UK. Gareth Paul Gates (born 12 July 1984) is an English singer-songwriter and actor. He was the runner-up in the first series of the ITV talent show ''Pop Idol'' in 2002. As of 2008, Gates had sold over 3.5 million records in the UK. He is also known for having a stutter, and has talked about his speech impediment publicly. BBMak are an English band consisting of Mark Barry, Christian Burns and Stephen McNally. Formed in Liverpool in 1996, they sold over three million albums worldwide between 1999 and 2003. ''It's About Time'' is the debut studio album from the Jonas Brothers. It was released on August 8, 2006 through Columbia Records. The album was released through Columbia's Daylight Records imprint. A DualDisc of this version of the album was also released. The DualDisc version contains the complete 3-part video for the album's initial single, "Mandy". The album is currently out of print, so copies of it are rare and expensive, but it is available on eBay and on digital download. It is available on iTunes as well as for streaming on Spotify. One of the songs on the album, "Time for Me to Fly", was featured in the film '' Aquamarine'' in 2006. After Columbia Records dropped the group from their roster list, they signed with Hollywood.
